Bonnie J. Riley, LCSW-R, IBECPT holds an MSW from
Syracuse
University and is a New York State
Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Ms. Riley is Internationally Certified by Play
Therapy International to supervise and practice child
psychotherapy and child play therapy.
Ms. Riley has over ten years of clinical experience
providing therapeutic counseling services to adults,
children, teens, individuals, couples and families with
seven of these years dedicated to counseling Soldiers and
their family members who have experienced loss, separation
and deployments.
With a specialty in child play therapy, Ms. Riley has an
expertise in working with children who have been sexually or
physically abused.
In addition, she has extensive experience working
with children who have been witness to domestic violence and
neglected.
Ms.
Riley is a member of the National Association of Social
Workers since 2000.
AMY C. BABINEAU, MA holds an MA in Counseling
with Specialty in Clinical Psychotherapy from
Rivier
College
in Nashua,
New Hampshire.
Ms. Babineau is licensed as a
mental health counselor in
Massachusetts and
New Hampshire and is in the process
of obtaining licensure in the state of
New York.
Ms. Babineau has over fifteen
years experience in counseling children, adolescents, and
adults in a variety of modalities including individual,
group, couples, and family therapy.
For fifteen years, Ms. Babineau
has implemented the Nurturing Parenting by Stephen J.
Bavolek PhD, a parenting education and support curriculum
recognized by SAMSHA in the prevention of child abuse and
neglect.
She has implemented evidence
based programs to treat trauma in children and adolescents
such as Child parent Psychotherapy and Trauma Focused
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Ms. Babineau also is trained in
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
For the past four years, she has
worked in clinical settings with her Cairn terrier, Seamhas.
Seamhas is registered with Dog
B.O.N.E.S. (Dogs Building Opportunities for Nurturing and
Emotional Support.) and she offers this form of therapy to
individuals.
LORI A. HOUPPERT, M.Ed, M.S. holds a Masters in
Education with the primary focus on School Counseling and a
Masters of Science degree in which she focused on Mental
Health Counseling.
Both of Ms. Houppert's degrees
were obtained at St. Lawrence University.
She is in the process of
obtaining licensure in the State of
New York.
Ms. Houppert has over 4 years
of clinical experience providing therapeutic counseling
services to adults, children, teens, individuals, and
families.
She has experience working with
children who have been sexually or physically abused and
have witnessed family disruption.
Ms. Houppert has attended
several workshops and continued education that deals with
play therapy and sexual abuse issues.
DEAN C. ANTHONY, LMSW, is a counselor at Family
Counseling Service of Northern New York, Inc.
Mr. Anthony holds a Master of
Social Work from
Syracuse
University
and is a New York State Licensed Master Social Worker.
He provides a full range of
counseling for individuals, families and groups.
He co-facilitates both the
Choices group for men and the Peace group for women in the
domestic violence program at Family Counseling Service.
His primary interest is
counseling victims of trauma, with a focus on combat trauma.
